A&B Building Solutions is a specialist building contractor based in Dundee and working throughout Scotland. We carry out building repair, restoration and specialist construction for commercial, industrial and residential clients.
Who we are
The right repair starts with understanding the problem.
Our focus is specialist repairs: concrete repair, industrial resin flooring, concrete floor repairs, waterproofing and tanking, heritage restoration, stonework and structural strengthening. We put the emphasis on detailed surveys and specifications, careful workmanship, reliable delivery and repairs that last.
We work for commercial and industrial clients, property managers and factors, and residential clients with larger repairs. We are growing our commercial and industrial work, and we are set up to take on larger and more technical projects anywhere in Scotland.

A&B Building Solutions is a CHAS accredited contractor. CHAS assesses a contractor's health and safety arrangements against the standard that commercial and public sector clients expect, so a client can see those checks have been made before work starts on their site.

How a project runs
Every job follows the same path, whether it is one set of steps or a full building.
Enquiry
You tell us about the problem and the building, with photos if you have them, by phone or with the form.
Survey
We visit, inspect the defect, investigate the cause and record what we find with photos.
Specification and quote
We write down the repair method, materials, access and phasing for each area, and price from that specification.
Programme
Once the scope is agreed, we plan the work around the building and its users, and arrange scaffold, access and any permits.
Repair
We carry out the work to the specification, with photos before, during and after.
Completion
We clear the site and hand the finished work over.
