Who we are

What we collect through the enquiry form

• Your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, company and project location.
• The service you need, your property type and your description of the project.
• Any photos or documents you upload.
• How you reached the site: the page you landed on, the referring website, campaign tags and advertising click identifiers (such as a Google Ads click ID), if present.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey and prepare a quote. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We use the source and campaign information to understand which services, areas and adverts bring enquiries. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website, runs the spam check (Turnstile) on the form, and stores a copy of each enquiry in a database so we can find it if an email goes astray.
• MailerSend, which delivers the enquiry email to us.
• Our customer relationship management system, if we use one, to keep track of enquiries.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits and enquiries. These set cookies so we can see which pages and adverts lead to enquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. For the length of your visit, the site also keeps the page you arrived on and any campaign tags in your browser, so they can be sent with an enquiry.

The map on our contact page loads from Google Maps only when you choose to show it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask us to transfer it. Email info@abbuildingsolutions.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
